NOVEMBER 30, 2025
On Sunday November 30th, we begin our Advent journey by returning to the night that changed the world. Through Luke’s account of Jesus’ birth, Rev. Richard Kannwischer invites us to rediscover the wonder of the gospel—the good news that still breaks through the noise and fear of our times.
NOVEMBER 23, 2025
This Sunday, we welcome Rev. Dr. Carl Martin as he brings a message drawn from Luke 18:9–14, the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. In it, Jesus paints a vivid contrast between pride and humility in how we approach God.
NOVEMBER 16, 2025
We are honored to welcome Tamy Elam, founder of Hallel, to lead us in a powerful journey through one of Paul’s most vivid passages on spiritual strength and warfare. In Ephesians 6:10–20, we’re reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, and yet we are called to stand firm — clothed in truth, righteousness, readiness, faith, salvation, and the Word of God.
Tamy brings a rich heritage of ministry, serving women and children both locally and globally (in Israel, Jordan, England, Northern Africa and Mexico) and committed to deepening the love of Christ through Scripture and prayer.
November 9, 2025
This Sunday, we welcome Bijan Mirtolooi, who will lead us through one of the most profound prayers ever recorded — Jesus’ prayer for His disciples in John 17:13–24.
In this passage, Jesus prays not only for those with Him at that moment, but for all who would come to believe — including us. He asks that we may experience the same unity, love, and joy that He shares with the Father.
Bijan will explore what it means to live as people shaped by this prayer — set apart in truth, yet sent into the world with love and purpose.
November 2, 2025
This Sunday, we welcome David Allgire as he guides us through a deeply moving encounter between Jesus, a Pharisee, and a woman known only by her reputation and her worship.
In Luke 7:36–50, Jesus reveals what it means to love much because we’ve been forgiven much. As the woman pours perfume on His feet and washes them with her tears, we are invited to consider our own response to the mercy of God.
David will help us reflect on how forgiveness transforms not only our hearts, but also the way we see others… with grace, gratitude, and humility.

This Sunday, we welcome Rev. Dr. Carl Martin as he brings a message drawn from Luke 18:9–14, the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. In it, Jesus paints a vivid contrast between pride and humility in how we approach God.
October 17, 2025
This Sunday, we welcome Ken Philbeck as he leads us through one of the most sacred moments in Scripture — the institution of the Lord’s Supper. In Luke 22:17–20, Jesus shares bread and wine with His disciples, revealing the profound mystery of His body and blood given for us.
Ken will help us reflect on the depth of this moment — a call to remember, to give thanks, and to live in unity through the covenant Christ sealed with His own sacrifice. It’s a message of renewal and reverence, preparing our hearts for true communion with Him and with one another.
October 12, 2025
This Sunday, we are honored to welcome Pastor Cam Huxford, the founding pastor of Compassion Christian Church in Savannah. Though recently retired, Cam continues to pour into the church he built and the people he loves — and this Sunday, we are blessed to hear from him.

This Sunday promises to be a joyful, soul-stirring experience as we welcome back The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra for a special worship service filled with music, praise, and a message of hope.
With Clay Johnson delivering the message and Jeremy Davis guiding us in prayer, this service will weave Scripture and storytelling into powerful musical moments—both familiar favorites and fresh arrangements.

Speaker: Rev. Dr. Carl Martin
Scripture:Luke 16:19–31
Message Title:Are You an Insider or Outsider?
This Sunday, Dr. Carl Martin unpacks one of Jesus’ most sobering parables — a story about two men, two eternal outcomes, and one critical question: Where do you stand with God?
Come be challenged by a message that reminds us what really matters — not status, success, or appearances, but the condition of the soul and the grace that bridges the gap.

Speaker: Joey Denton
Scripture: Luke 16: 1-16
We all carry influence—whether in our families, friendships, workplaces, or neighborhoods. But have you ever paused to consider why you’ve been entrusted with that influence?
This Sunday, Joey Denton will guide us through one of Jesus’ most complex parables—one that theologians still wrestle to interpret. Yet, hidden in its layers is a powerful call: to steward our lives with eternal purpose.
September 14, 2025
Speaker: Rob Jacobs
Scripture: Luke 7:18-35
John the Baptist, sitting in prison, sent messengers to Jesus with a heartfelt question: “Are You the One who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”
In Luke 7:18–35, we see how Jesus answered — not with theory, but with evidence of God’s kingdom breaking in: the blind seeing, the lame walking, good news proclaimed to the poor. Rob Jacobs will guide us through this rich passage, showing how Jesus invites us to bring Him our doubts and questions, and how His works affirm that He truly is the promised One.

This Week’s Sermon
Speaker: David Allgire
Scripture: Matthew 18:21-35
This Sunday, David Allgire will lead us through the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, a story where Jesus calls us to practice radical forgiveness. Peter asked if forgiving someone seven times was enough, but Jesus answered with “seventy times seven,” pointing to a forgiveness that mirrors the boundless mercy of God.
