Jonathan Riddle provides us a powerful reminder that God does not wait for our strength to become evident before He works. He meets us in weakness, sustains us in hardship, and reveals His power through imperfect people.
Through Paul’s words, we were reminded that our limitations are not obstacles to God’s purposes. They are often the very places where His grace becomes most visible.
Our weakness drives us to depend more deeply on Christ.
It softens us toward the struggles of others.
And it becomes a witness to a watching world that the surpassing power belongs to God, not to us.
What the world sees as brokenness, God can use for beauty, humility, compassion, and strength.
What a comfort to remember that we do not have to be flawless to be faithful — only willing to let Christ’s power rest upon us.
