Pastor Jonathan Riddle leads us into the Palm Sunday account in Mark’s Gospel — a passage filled with celebration, expectation, and deep significance. As Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd responded with praise. But beneath the surface of that moment was a deeper question: did they truly recognize the King who was coming to them? The message reminded us that many were looking for a different kind of savior — one marked by power, status, and control — while Jesus came in humility, sacrifice, and love.

We were also reminded that the Kingdom of God invites participation. Some are called to go. Others are called to give. All are called to respond. As Holy Week begins, this passage prepares our hearts not only to honor the King, but to follow in His way.
