Speaker: Zach Waters
Scripture: 1 Samuel 17:32–51
Zach Waters walks us through one of the most well-known moments in Scripture — David standing before Goliath. While the army of Israel saw an impossible giant, David saw something different. He saw an opportunity for God to show His power. Zach reminded us that the story of David and Goliath isn’t really about the size of the giant — it’s about the size of our view of God.
Fear filled the battlefield that day. Yet David stepped forward not because he felt fearless, but because he trusted the Lord more than the threat in front of him.
Faith does not pretend giants aren’t real.
Faith remembers who God is.
When our perspective shifts from the problem to the power of God, what once looked impossible begins to look like a place where God can move.
Sometimes the greatest victories come when ordinary obedience meets complete trust in the Lord.
