Sermon Title: Faith, Fear, and the Impossible

This Sunday we welcome Zach Waters, Bible Mentor at Hilton Head Christian Academy (9th & 10th grade) and Area Representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

In one of the most familiar stories in Scripture, we’ll revisit David standing before Goliath — a moment where fear filled the battlefield, but faith stepped forward. The account of David and Goliath isn’t just about courage. It’s about perspective. While others saw an impossible obstacle, David saw an opportunity for God to display His power.

Faith does not deny fear — it confronts it.
Faith does not ignore giants — it remembers who God is.
Faith does not rely on human strength — it trusts the Lord of Hosts.

Zach’s heart is anchored in this prayer:
“In all that I do and in all that I say, I pray that the deeds of my hands reflect the faith in my heart.”
