At the chapel service on November 9th, we had the joy of welcoming Rev. Bijan Mirtolooi, who led us through one of the most profound prayers in all of Scripture — Jesus’ prayer for His disciples in John 17:13–24.

In this deeply stirring message, Bijan reminded us that Jesus didn’t just pray for His disciples in that moment, but for all who would believe — including us. He unpacked what it means to live as people shaped by this prayer: set apart in truth, yet sent into the world with love and purpose.

As Jesus prayed that we would be unified, filled with joy, and enveloped in the same love He shares with the Father, we were invited to examine our own lives:
Are we living as a people marked by that kind of love?
